Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Kaskade brought his iconic sound to The Ruins, one of the Bay Area's most visually striking outdoor venues. For this premium production, Wastrel Studios deployed a full six-person crew with advanced multi-camera, dual-drone, and live editing capabilities — delivering real-time social content during the event and a comprehensive post-production package within seven days.
The result: cinematic, concert-grade coverage that captured the scale of the performance, the energy of the crowd, and the unique atmosphere of The Ruins — all delivered at a pace that matched the momentum of the moment.
Our Role
Wastrel Studios provided end-to-end live production with same-day content delivery and full post-production:
- Multi-Camera Production – Deployed 5 professional cameras with 2 dedicated operators and roaming coverage, capturing every angle from stage performance to crowd energy with a video village setup for real-time monitoring
- Coordinated Aerial Coverage – Operated 2 drone units with coordinated flight patterns, showcasing the dramatic scale of The Ruins venue and delivering sweeping cinematic perspectives not possible from ground level
- Live Audio Engineering – On-site audio technical engineer managing multi-channel recording and live monitoring, ensuring broadcast-quality sound capture synced across all camera feeds
- Real-Time Content & Editing – A dedicated live video editor cut and delivered social-ready clips during the event, with a same-day reel package of 4–6 clips delivered within 4 hours of the final set
- Post-Production Package – Full multi-cam performance edit with professional switching and effects, two highlight reels (30s and 45s), behind-the-scenes content, and 5 song-promo reels — all delivered within 7 days
